Under the strict regulations of the ITF Free Fighting Rules, they have overcome all obstacles and are admitted as Official Competition Gloves by the International Taekwon-Do Federation. Decisive for their success is the shock-absorbing protective padding made of one-piece PPS foam, as well as the extended shaft. Shin and instep guards are part of the standard equipment in many sports - whether in the boxing ring, on the football field, the hockey field or MTB sports - these things have long been for much pure formality. It is exactly the shape that makes good shin protection. Your shin guard should begin just above the ankle and end below the knee. Whether the instep guard is firmly integrated or can be attached variably via hook and loop straps is a point of your personal preference. It is much more important that the shin guards rest flat, as this is the only way to distribute the impact energy effectively. If the schooner only touches your leg at certain points, you increase the risk of injury by concentrating the forces on the support points. The Manus shin guard can precisely protect the sensitive shin area with an extensive range of lengths: XS = 26 cm; S=28cm; M=30cm; L = 32 cm. The inner multi-layer foam ensures high-impact absorption. A robust cover made of PU synthetic leather makes the shin guard insensitive to external influences.
